The auspicious Akshaya Tritiya Rath Puja — marking the traditional start of the Ratha Yatra season. The first puja for the sacred chariots, performed with full Vedic rituals at Sanatan Mandir, Tampa.

The ceremonial bathing of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra followed by the Gaja Besha (elephant attire) — a unique and breathtaking form in which the deities are adorned as Sri Ganesh after their sacred bath.

After fifteen days of Anasar (rest period following Snana Yatra), the deities reappear in their fresh Nabajouban Besha — the New Youth form. Netrotsav celebrates the re-opening of the divine eyes for devotee darshan, just two days before Ratha Yatra.

On the evening of Ratha Yatra day, the deities are adorned in the magnificent Bada Singhara Besha atop the chariots. A spectacular evening darshan and a special attraction for all Ratha Yatra attendees.

The sacred return journey of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra back to the main temple after their time at Gundicha. The Bahuda Yatra concludes the Ratha Yatra festival with equal devotion and grandeur.
